J Scott

J Scott (he goes by "J") runs 123Flip.com and a full-time entrepreneur and investor, living in the suburbs of Washington, DC.  J is an engineer and business guy by education and spent much of his early career in Silicon Valley, where he held management positions at several Fortune 500 companies, including Microsoft and eBay. In 2008, J and his wife Carol decided to leave the 80-hour work weeks and the constant business travel behind. They quit their corporate jobs, moved back East, got married, started a family and decided to try something new. That something new ended up being real estate – in the past nine years, they have bought, built, rehabbed, sold, lent-on and held over $40M in property. 

J runs the popular website 123Flip.com and is the author of three books on real estate investing, including the best-selling, The Book on Flipping Houses.  His books have sold over 100,000 copies in the past five years and have helped investors from around the world get their start with real estate. 


Serena Norris

Serena Norris is the operations manager and interior/graphics designer for Fixated Events and Fixated Real Estate, an investment company specializing in volume fix and flip and BRRRR single-family properties. Founded in 2013, Fixated Real Estate has since become an authority in the real estate investment community in the Puget Sound and surrounding areas. By focusing on building strong, scalable and duplicatable systems, the Fixated team has been able to successfully “flip” over forty million dollars in single-family homes from Seattle, WA to Portland, OR. In addition, Serena is a licensed real estate broker with Keller Williams Realty and a participating member of multiple networking and charitable events groups in the Northwest, including holding an officer chair for the Keller Williams Young Professionals Chapter of Puget Sound. With her involvement in these groups, Serena has helped raise tens of thousands of dollars for local and national charity organizations.

Thach Nguyen

William Barnard

William Barnard, president of Barnard Enterprises, Inc. and founder of additional real estate investment companies, has been a real estate investor since 2004 investing in nearly every aspect of real estate. Over the years as the real estate market changed, so did his investing strategies. Currently he buys single family properties to redevelop and sell. Other current and previous investment strategies include land development, spec building, wholesaling, notes, buy and hold, and much more. He does millions of dollars in real estate transactions each year. As the principle of the transaction, William has sold over $50,000,000 of single family properties alone.

Tucker Merrihew

Tucker Merrihew is the owner of TTM Development Company, which is located in the Portland-Metro Area. He began his career in the Real Estate business back in 2002 as a Top Producing Mortgage loan officer, then by 2004 he had built his own Mortgage Company that served both Oregon & Washington. In 2008 Tucker began building TTM Development Company from the ground up, which today not only renovates existing homes, but also builds higher end new construction throughout the Portland Area. Presently Tucker is in charge of overall operations, Investor Relations and project financing for the company. Tucker was the youngest builder ever to participate in Portland’s 2013 Street of Dreams, where TTM built and sold their first multi-million-dollar spec home. Tucker has also been the Host of The Real Dealz Podcast for the past 4 years, which is one of the top Real Estate Investing shows on iTunes with over 200+ episodes!

Will Heaton

Will Heaton is co-founder and managing partner at Heaton Dainard and Intrust Funding. With over 10 years’ experience in renovation, financing and construction management for multi-family and residential real estate, Will is responsible for investor relations, underwriting and business development. He has been recognized by the Master Builders Association and Built Green for his work with LimeLite Development and Infinity Land Management as well as establishing Intrust Funding as an industry leader with annual awards from Inc. 5000’s Fastest Growing Private Companies in America (since 2015) and both Puget Sound Business Journal’s list of 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies and Eastside’s 50 Fastest Growing Private Companies in Washington State (since 2013). James Dainard

James Dainard is co-founder and managing partner at Heaton Dainard and Intrust Funding. As a seasoned real estate investor, James leads the development and execution of corporate strategies, marketing, and property acquisitions at Heaton Dainard Real Estate. His decade of experience investing in multi-family and single-family units in the Puget Sound region has guided Heaton Dainard to more than 200 million in sales volume from 385 transactions in only 2017. Nikolaï Ray is the founder and CEO of the MREX (multi-family real estate exchange). Nikolai is regarded as one of North-America's leading experts in apartment investing with over 1 billion dollars in analysis and transactions. Jeremy Roll is the founder and president of Roll Investment Group and co-founder of For Investors By Investors. Jeremy has been a real estate and business investor for over 16 years who left the corporate world in 2007 to become a full-time passive cash flow investor. He is currently an investor in more than 70 opportunities across over $500 Million worth of real estate and business assets. Rick Gregorek is the founder and managing member of Gregorek and Associates, PLLC, which offers a full line of legal services to individuals, families, and closely held businesses. Rick currently hosts Your Partner In Law on Seattle’s KIRO 97.3 FM and KTTH AM 770 every Sunday morning at 8:00. Rick is a frequent speaker and lecturer in the areas of Real Estate, Business Law, Estate Planning and Asset Protection. Rick is licensed to practice law in Washington, Oregon, the Federal District Court (Washington), and the US Tax Court. Rick earned his Juris Doctorate from Seattle University. He has also earned a MA in Executive Management from the Claremont Graduate University, Peter F. Drucker Management Center and a MBA from Whittier College.

Marc Erickson is a proud founder of the company SpringBoard to Wealth and the principal in Resonance Realty Services, a company focused on helping owners and industry professionals achieve their Real Estate-related goals through education, coaching and consulting, as well as tactical assistance to buy and develop properties.

Scott Lewis

Scott Lewis is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Spartan Investment Group, LLC (SIG) and has led several successful real estate developments ranging multi-family development to raw land development of self-storage and retail facilities. To date SIG has $30M in development projects underway, and has raised over $8M in private equity.  As the Chief Executive Officer, Scott is responsible for developing business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives. He leads the Spartan team by overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission. In addition to Spartan, Scott is also a Major in the US Army Reserves and is an Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran. He has held various positions including Infantry Platoon Leader, Military Police Company Commander, Officer Candidate School Platoon Trainer, amongst others.  

Scott graduated from Michigan State University with degrees in Chemistry and Marketing, from Catholic University with a MS in Management, from Georgetown University with a Certificate in Project Management, and has his Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification


Ryan Gibson

Ryan Gibson is a co-founder of Spartan Investment Group, LLC. Ryan has experience in real estate development to include ground-up development of multi-family condos, single-family homes, and full renovation projects located in challenging high density urban markets. Ryan has organized over $8M of private equity for SIG. Recently, Ryan organized $1M in less than 24-hours for a debt position on an RV Park acquisition. For SIG, Ryan is responsible for investor relations and capital raises for projects. Ryan has grown SIGs investor network to over 400 investors in less than 2 years. In addition SIG real estate activities, Ryan owns and manages rentals properties in multiple states and has invested in apartment buildings, self-storage, and land development projects.

Ryan is also a wide-body international airline pilot and has flown the 737, 757, and 767 for a major airline. Ryan previous worked in legislative affairs in Washington, DC assisting the FAA in implementing commercial aviation regulations. Additionally, Ryan served as a Regional Chief Pilot overseeing over 500 daily departures for the nation’s largest independently held airline. Ryan graduated from Mercyhurst University with a bachelor's degree in Business, with concentrations in Marketing, Management, and Advertising.

Enrique Jevons

Enrique Jevons is the Designated Managing Broker for Yakima Valley Real Estate, Jevons Property Management, Pellego Inc, and Pellego Property Management. From managing 120+ rental units of his own to managing over 600+ units for other owners, Enrique has a tremendous amount of depth and experience in both multi-family and single-family rentals. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors and an executive board member of the Yakima Valley Landlords Association. Elliot Smith

Elliot Smith, co-founder of Summit Development, started investing part-time while working 70 hours a week at his W2 job. Because of his time restrictions, systems were built to maximize the sparse time he had available to invest each week. After leaving the employee life behind, he continued to invest part time. The company completed 22 deals in 2017 working 20 hours a week and is on track to complete 40 flips in 2018. Artem Tepler

Artem Tepler is co-owner of Schon Tepler Group, a fully integrated real estate development and investment company based in Los Angeles, California. Born in Siberia, Mr. Tepler immigrated to the United States at the age of 9. In 2004, prior to graduating from Rutgers Business School with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, he formed a real estate investment firm that specialized in the acquisition and rehabilitation of distressed residential real estate in New Jersey and Florida. After successfully running his company for a number of years he decided to upgrade his skills by going back to school and earning a Masters in Real Estate Development from New York University. In 2009, upon graduation he relocated to Los Angeles, strictly for the weather, teamed up with Paul Schon and formed Schon Tepler Group in order to take advantage of the unprecedented opportunities in distressed residential real estate during the Great Recession. Artem is a Licensed California Real Estate Broker and a Licensed California General Contractor. His company is currently developing over $150,000,000 of multi-family properties ground-up.

Mr. Flaherty graduated from Monmouth University in 1998 with a BS in Medical Technology. He has over 19 years of experience in the areas of: Medical Staffing, IT Contractor Placement, Executive Staffing ITO, and BPO. Mr. Flaherty currently works and resides in North Carolina. In 2010, he joined Global Strategic as the VP of Sales and transitioned into COO the role he presently holds. During his tenure at Global Strategic he helped transition the company from legal support back office to a custom Business Process Solutions company. He put the focus on developing customizable labor solutions, and intellectual property protection for clients in a variety of industries. Additionally, he drove the adoption of the ISO 27001 Data Security & Integrity Certification a distinction that validates the process and security that Global provides for their client.

Jason is also a national speaker, consultant and author. Christine Kwon is a real estate investor and a co-founder of ROCK Property Investment LLC, i.e. ROCK PI LLC.  She and her partner founded the firm in August 2015 soon after they joined Fortune Builders; a real estate educational program.  She purchased her first flip project in November of the same year and sold it for over 70k in net profit.  She successfully flipped approximately 15 properties in her first year, and kept 20% to go toward rental properties as she built her buy and hold portfolio.  In her second year in business, she has doubled the total revenue and profit as well as her buy and hold portfolio.  Now in her third year in business, she plans to set yet another record.  

Past 15 years, Christine was an IT engineer and worked for Fortune 500 companies throughout the USA.  Within this role she quickly rose to a managerial position and led multiple global teams.  She later became a software architect and was immersed in a breadth of projects including government programs, analytics and reporting automation, digital marketing analytics, and pricing tools.  Christine applies tools and experience she learned from corporate world to her flip business.  On her own word, “standardization and efficiency are the key to success!”

Scott Price

Scott Price is a full-time real estate investor who owns a profitable and growing portfolio that spans multi-family, single family, office, retail, and land.  He leads Bonvolo Real Estate Investments, which manages these properties plus opens select opportunities to partner with other investors.  He provides a wealth of real estate investment experience, including how to make the transition from a W-2 job to semi-retired portfolio management.  His investments span multiple markets and his organizational model is formed around working with solid local teams.  He manages everything with his wife as business partner, working together from their home on Whidbey Island.  Scott bought and managed his first rental property in 1994, and ramped up his real estate work and investing education in 2003 by becoming a full time real estate broker for 4 years and then purchasing his first apartment complex in 2005.  He has since been awarded many real estate certifications and has also been interviewed by Homes & Garden TV, KIRO TV, Seattle Magazine, newspapers, book authors, real estate podcasts, and real estate investing groups.

Rich Fettke

Rich Fettke is the Co-CEO of Real Wealth Network, a 3-time Inc. 5000 ranked real estate investment company with 22 employees and over 37,000 members.  Rich oversees the marketing and business development at RWN. He is passionate about developing the company's team and systems, and is always looking for new ways to bring good people to the Network. A licensed real estate broker and investor, Rich is also the former CEO of a large health club franchise.  As a Master Certified Business Coach and the author of Extreme Success (Simon & Schuster, 2002), Rich has been featured in such media as USA Today, Entrepreneur Magazine and the Wall Street Journal.  With a love for adventure sports, Rich has competed in the ESPN X-Games and is a record-holding bungee jumper, a skydiver, rock climber, skier and surfer.  He is happily married to his Co-CEO, Kathy Fettke, and they have also co-parented two wonderful daughters. 


Liz Richardson

Liz Richardson (formerly Sigfridson) is the Lending & Operations manager of Redmond Funding Group (RFG). Liz manages the day-to-day operations of RFG including the origination and servicing of its portfolio of fix & flip, rehab, spec construction, and investment real estate loans. Since joining Redmond Funding Group in 2014, Liz has been instrumental in growing the RFG loan portfolio to over $35mm. RFG is one of the smaller hard money lenders in the area and prides itself on exceptionally fast and personal service to its clients and very little bureaucracy. Most of its new business comes from repeat customers and direct referrals. Prior to joining RFG, Liz worked in title and escrow for six years and is a graduate of the University of Montana.
